# Add FTM to MetaMask

**ADD Fantom** rpc to metamask ***automatically*** using  [Chainlist.org](http://Chainlist.org) 

or manually

1. **Network Name**: Fantom Opera\ <br>
2. **New RPC Url**: [https://rpcapi.fantom.network](https://rpcapi.fantom.network/)\ <br>
3. **ChainID**: 250\ <br>
4. **Symbol**: FTM\ <br>
5. **Block Explorer URL**: <https://ftmscan.com/>\
   \*\* increase performance on the Fantom network by changing the custom RPC to <https://rpc.ftm.tools/>

   In MetaMask, got to Settings -> Networks -> Select Fantom Opera -> change RPC URL to <https://rpc.ftm.tools/>
