Bolt Dollar is a decentralized algorithmic stablecoin pegged at $1.00 USD. Instead of a central authority regulating the price, investor behaviour is incentivized to keep it near the ideal level.

Bolt Dollar is a multi-token protocol that consists of the following three tokens:

  • Bolt True Dollar (BTD)

  • Bolt True Share (BTS)

  • Bolt Bond (BTB)

The initial aim of the Bolt Dollar DAO that supports the project is to create a stable, decentralized cryptocurrency on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). To achieve this, several use-cases are being developed throughout the BSC ecosystem. For instance collaboration with AMM’s (Automated Market Maker), Yield farming Dapps or using Bolt Dollar as a gaming currency. In the future, we’ll expand into other areas.

Bolt Dollar will always try to reach the price point of 1:1 BTD / BUSD.
